Ingrowth: Improved Porous Volume

NanoHiveTM interbodies are over 70% porous by volume.  They are designed to provide a more stable fusion, by allowing bone to spread laterally through porous walls.  Within the porous core are lumens and cavities engineered to aid in both bony attachment and angiogenesis.

Ongrowth : Engineered Surface Characteristics

NanoHiveTM interbodies are finished with a proprietary surface treatment to make them an active participant in the fusion process.  They feature roughness as well as a highly engineered oxide surface layer, both of which have been shown to support osteogenesis.
